Sunrise in Edinburgh

The artist visited Edinburgh for the presentation of Joseph Hislop's posthumous bust to the Usher Hall.

She and her husband were accommodated in a splendid suite of the Sheriton Hotel with views to Edinburgh Castle. This is one of the two pastels sketches done at that time.

The other pastel sketch is Morning Sunshine in Edinburgh.
